FAQ

How do you develop new antagonists and how Dr. Függer faces them?
When I begin writing the most important thing in the story is creating the antagonists. For example, Colonel Apophis Adelram is a ruthless, sadistic bastard with only one objective. On the other hand, Dr. Függer always has his main objective, but the story shifts, thus changing outcomes.
This is your fourth book so how did you continue to intertwine fact and fiction details in your story?
I start with the facts I know from books, documentaries, and films. Next, I develop a way to place Dr. Függer into real and fictious, yet believable historical events. This is the fun of writing my kind of books. In most cases, I have an idea of how the book will end but getting to that point is challenging. If I can leave the reader wanting more after every page, then that’s the best!
Is there going be a fifth book?
I’m not certain. Maybe! I’m currently writing a soft romance story about soulmates that follows a historical timeline. Look for this one in 2025.
Do you consider the butterfly effect when crafting the story?
Only once during the series. In book three, Horizons without Boundaries, Dr. Függer’s oldest son, Max, was to die in Vietnam; however, in book four Between Methods And Madness he dies another way (spoiler alert).
